Single-Photon Camera Sensitivity
Single-Photon Cameras ~100-1000 photons single photon conventional camera pixel single-photon camera pixel Extreme sensitivity
A presentation slide compares a conventional camera pixel, which detects hundreds or thousands of photons, with a single-photon camera pixel that detects just one photon. The joke is the exaggerated contrast in sensitivity, making the technology seem comically precise and powerful; this meme can be sent as a reaction to extreme attention to tiny details or overengineered technology.
