Storing Data Escalation

Storing data All data stored in database All data stored in a Google Sheet, accessible via an API Each user's data is stored as XML in a separate text file A disk partition is created for each user, with the user ID as the partition name, sized exactly to fit the required user data A group of developers learn user data by heart and data is requested on demand via Mechanical Turk Interns use post-its to store the location of the base64-encoded data within the decimals of Pi

A six-panel escalating-brain meme presents increasingly absurd ways to store and retrieve user data, progressing from a database to interns memorizing locations in the decimals of Pi. The joke mocks overengineered or impractical software architecture by treating progressively worse solutions as increasingly enlightened ideas.
