Me 2020 vs Me 2026

Text on the meme

Me 2020 : You're too ugly, you'll never be attractive to anyone Me 2026...

What it means

A woman in a school cafeteria looks back skeptically as her 2020 self insults her appearance. The clip then cuts to her in 2026, laughing happily while Shrek embraces her from behind. The joke is a glow-up and self-confidence transformation, with the dramatic romantic pop-ballad “Die With A Smile” by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars making the change feel exaggerated, triumphant, and sentimental.
