Our New Dog Loves Bath Time

Our new dog loves bath time 😌

A black lizard swims calmly through a bathtub while the caption calls it “our new dog” and says it loves bath time. The joke is the absurd mismatch between the innocent pet caption and the creature’s intimidating, reptilian appearance, heightened by John Williams’s dramatic orchestral music from “Main Title and First Victim” and a foghorn-like sound. It works as a reaction to presenting something obviously unusual or threatening as completely normal.
