Sleeping with Pikachu vs Machoke
SLEEPING WITH YOUR PIKACHU : CUTE SLEEPING WITH YOUR MACHOKE : WEIRD
Ash sleeps peacefully while hugging Pikachu under a blanket, but sleeping with the much larger Machoke looks strange and uncomfortable. The joke contrasts the cuteness of cuddling a small Pokémon with the absurdity of sharing a bed with a muscular humanoid Pokémon, making it useful as a reaction to an unexpectedly weird companion or situation.
