Cry During Business Hours

Text on the meme

Friendly reminder never to be sad on your days off. Cry during business hours and get paid for your depression, don’t let capitalism win.

What it means

A gloomy video alternates between a person running through a foggy landscape and a distressed person collapsing and flailing on a couch indoors. The caption humorously advises saving depression for work hours so emotional suffering is technically paid, framing sadness as a rebellion against capitalism. The melancholic new-age track “kiss me again” by Inei makes the absurd advice feel dramatically sincere and intensifies the joke.
