YouTube vs Letterboxd Movie Watching

THE EVIL DEAD the mentality of watching a movie: YouTube vs. Letterboxd Hard to believe the dude from this movie would later become the gun toting, one liner spitting, chainsaw arm having bad ass that we would all come to know and love. Atmosphere and cinematography in this movie are unmatched I had the pleasure and privilege of attending a lecture given by Bruce at my community-college in March 2003. Afterward, I bought a copy of his book which he signed and dated, and he genuinely shook my hand after being so nice. It's one of my shelves for eternity. He's a great man. I remember 25-30 yrs ago walking to the neighborhood video renting store and renting this movie all the time! I used to love walking in there horror section and picking this movie cult! Man I miss those days. Evil dead will always be best horror movie of all time The special effects are insane, especially for a movie filmed in that time period, & a little to no budget! Honestly, the special effects is better than a lot of movies filmed today! I was so impressed that I was compelled to Google facts about the behind the scenes stories, and how all the effects were achieved. The fact that they used foed items like: creamed corn, milk, and LOTS of Karo syrup and food coloring is mind blowing! Not to mention the harsh environment in which they had to film, and the amount of injuries Bruce Campbell suffered through to make this film a reality. This movie is truly a masterpiece, and I don't say that to Sam Raimi, Bruce Campbell, and the entire crew that worked on this film. bruce campbell is my favourite final girl gore? heard of it those dead sure were evil Imagine trying to eat a snack while watching this Sam Raimi was 21 when he made this. If that fact is going to ruin my weekend, it may as well ruin yours. white people need to stop messin' around with demons, imo What was the fog machine budget for this when cheryl got possessed it's like... yeah that'll happen when you fifth wheel a couple's trip :\
