The Discourse This Week
The discourse this week I FUCKING HATE YOU AND HOPE YOU DIE I GAVE BIRTH AND ALL I GOT WAS THIS T SHIRT AND POSTPARTUM DEPRESSION I love my mommy even tho I cry sometimes
A crude black-and-white comic shows a furious mother complaining that childbirth gave her only a T-shirt and postpartum depression, while her smiling child says he loves his mommy even though he sometimes cries. The joke mocks the hostile, contradictory tone of online discourse, where people express extreme hatred while presenting themselves as vulnerable or affectionate.
