When You Can't Afford Ye Tickets
When you can’t afford ye tickets
A performer in sunglasses and dark clothes raps and gestures onstage while standing on a giant illuminated globe, filmed by fans’ phones amid smoke and colorful concert lights. The joke is that someone who cannot afford tickets to see Ye has resorted to watching a tiny, absurdly close-up substitute performance on the world itself. Kanye West’s “Runaway” plays underneath, giving the clip a dramatic, recognizable concert mood that heightens the ridiculous workaround.
