Everything Is Antisemitic to the ADL
Everything is antisemitic to the ADL. Even the slur they use for us. A slur doesn’t stop being a slur because teenagers started using it. Today’s @nytimes “On Language” column treats the antisemitic slur "goyslop" as a fun linguistic curiosity rather than what it is: a term rooted in white supremacist conspiracy theories. ... goyslop [noun] an antisemitic slang term combining “goy,” the Hebrew word that colloquially refers to non-Jews, with “slop.” Antisemites use "goyslop" to promote a conspiracy theory that Jewish people profit from and intentionally distribute processed or fast food to make non-Jewish populations unhealthy, depressed, or docile.
A screenshot of a social media post mocks the Anti-Defamation League for describing the antisemitic slur “goyslop” while arguing that the term should not be treated as harmless internet slang. The joke is a sarcastic reaction to perceived hypocrisy: the post claims that the organization condemns antisemitism while repeating and explaining an antisemitic term. It is used as a reaction to discussions about online slang, antisemitism, media framing, or alleged institutional double standards.
