Slowly Forgetting Your Meow

I'm slowly starting to forget the sound of your meow.

A dreamy, cinematic video moves through rivers, flower fields, meadows, ponds, and sunlit woodland while the caption says, “I'm slowly starting to forget the sound of your meow.” The joke is mock-dramatic nostalgia: it treats forgetting a cat’s meow like a heartbreaking farewell, made even more melodramatic by the emotional music. The clip uses Meego’s “Hero,” whose atmospheric, sentimental sound makes the absurd cat-related sadness feel epic.
