Martin Scorsese Crime Confession

“I condone the actions of all my protagonists, particularly the criminals. Wolf of Wall Street, The Irishman, Goodfellas, Casino. I agree & encourage all of them. That’s why I make sure they always end up on top” – Martin Scorsese when asked if he thinks crime is cool (he does)

Martin Scorsese smiles beside a quote claiming he endorses the criminal protagonists in his films and makes sure they end up on top. The joke satirizes the glamorous portrayal of crime in movies such as The Wolf of Wall Street, The Irishman, Goodfellas, and Casino, presenting Scorsese as secretly encouraging the behavior.
