Sailor's Gourmet Lunch

Text on the meme

I’ve got some bad news for you, Mike. As most of you know, my son is a Sailor. He sent a picture of his lunch yesterday from the galley. I’m thankful that we are finally taking care of our men and women in uniform. 🙏🇺🇸

What it means

A social media screenshot shows a post about a sailor’s lunch, pictured as a tray with rice, seafood, vegetables, dessert, and a drink. The joke is the exaggerated praise for an ordinary cafeteria meal, treating it as proof that the military is finally caring for its personnel. It is used as a sarcastic reaction to bland, unimpressive, or oddly presented food.
