Adult Life Meets Reality

Text on the meme

When it’s finally my turn to be an Adult Enjoy life and earn money World leaders Unemployment Economy Competition

What it means

A four-panel meme shows someone looking forward to adulthood, only to be confronted by world leaders, unemployment, a collapsing economy, and robotic competition. The joke is that becoming an adult brings financial and social problems instead of the expected freedom and money, so it is used as a pessimistic reaction to adulthood and the job market.
