Art Imitates Life
art imitates life
The image compares Salvador Dalí’s melting clocks from “The Persistence of Memory” with several cats sprawled and draped over a couch in similarly floppy poses. The joke is that the cats look like living versions of the melting clocks, making art imitate real life.
