Bear Hibernation Goes Dramatic
HIBERN
A bear tumbles and slides awkwardly through a snowy hillside before settling beside another bear and lounging in the snow. The caption “HIBERN” turns the bear’s clumsy descent and sudden relaxation into a joke about hibernation, while the grand, ominous Dance of the Knights makes the ordinary bear behavior feel comically epic and theatrical. André Previn and the London Symphony Orchestra perform the dramatic classical music, creating an exaggerated soundtrack for the bear’s anticlimactic rest.
