Cronenberg-esque trans surgery horror

Text on the meme

Every time I learn something new about being trans it is more horrifying and Cronenberg-esque then the last thing I learned about being trans. they're doing this to me tomorrow

What it means

A screenshot of a social media post shows a grotesque medical illustration of a person undergoing facial surgery, with the face pulled open and stapled. The joke exaggerates anxiety about learning unsettling facts about being trans by comparing the procedure to Cronenberg-style body horror, making it a reaction to disturbing medical imagery or information.
