How Boys Customize Characters

Text on the meme

how girls customize their characters: vs how boys customize their characters:

What it means

A video montage shows increasingly bizarre fantasy character customizations: girls’ characters are presented as beautiful, mystical women, while boys’ characters transform into grotesque, exaggerated, and finally bright yellow designs. The joke contrasts stereotypical aesthetic character creation with chaotic meme customization. Kanye West’s gospel-influenced hip-hop song “God Is” plays over the escalating visual gag, making the absurd transformations feel dramatically grand and inspirational.
