WOMEN MEN ME

Krobak — «It's Snowing Like It's the End of the World», EN: Throughout the clip, a man looks at three paintings: two women under “WOMEN,” a muscular man in briefs under “MEN,” and a penguin under “ME.” The joke is the self-deprecating comparison of oneself to a penguin and the absurd mismatch between expectations and self-image; it works as a reaction to awkwardness, alienation, or feeling strange. The gloomy atmospheric post-rock track “It's Snowing Like It's the End of the World” by Krobak makes the absurdity feel dramatically over-serious.
