Plants Feel Pain Too

Text on the meme

“But plants feel pain too.” No, that’s not true.

What it means

The clip opens with glowing X-ray-style images of a pig, broccoli, and a carrot while the captions claim that plants feel pain too. It then cuts to a small green cactus-shaped toy in a terracotta pot being repeatedly brushed or dragged across a wooden floor, humorously disproving the claim by showing the plant seemingly enjoying—or enduring—the treatment. INZO’s “Overthinker” plays underneath, creating a dramatic, philosophical electronic mood that makes the absurd visual punchline feel unexpectedly profound.
