Life in Late Stage Capitalism
Life in late stage capitalism ✨ then I go to my job as a full time plasma donor dying of diabetes makes so much more than literally selling it so I don't get hit with any DreamVertisements and that's my day
A young man in a mesh shirt and tan overalls narrates a surreal day in late-stage capitalism: he lives among homeless camps, donates plasma for work, encounters bizarre people, visits a hospital, and ends up sleeping in a cramped trailer with roommates. The absurd scenes visualize jokes about housing monopolies, subscription relationships, selling one’s body, influencer culture, and advertisements invading dreams. The deadpan narration and upbeat music make the dystopian routine feel comically normal. This is life in late stage capitalism. I wake up at 8am and immediately get hit with my morning thought for Tizemen. Drink shabuiki juice. Half to calories, twice the shabuiki. I then fight my eight roommates for space. Since Zillow now owns 100% of homes, this is our only option for living. For breakfast, my duplicate brings me my morning ration of trough slop. 100% processed. Then I go to my job as a full-time plasma donor. To pass the time, I watch my favorite 24-7 livestream. yo it's dystopian and today we're going to be siphoning memory from a duplicate hopefully there's something good oh childhood trauma that's wack just then world famous lonely hand model meemee money bags walks in looks like she's doing a make a wish for a 36 year old man dying of diabetes i can't believe i'm meeting you i rl can i use my last memory unit on you how does that do she makes 15 000 gallons a year that's That's a lot of water. Figuratively selling your body makes so much more than literally selling it. Then my girlfriend leaves me because I couldn't make my monthly girlfriend subscription payment. Maybe I should become a life streamer and move into Zillerville. Then I could probably afford a premium girlfriend and only need 3 roommates. Then I download sleep premiums so I don't get hit with any dream vertisements. And that's my day.
