Refund My Synagogue Donation

Text on the meme

Can I ask for a synagogue to refund my donation? Hanukkah Sameach everyone.

What it means

A Reddit post asks whether a synagogue can refund a donation, followed by a cheerful “Hanukkah Sameach everyone.” The joke comes from the awkward contrast between demanding a charitable donation back and offering a festive holiday greeting, making it a humorous venting reaction about regret or dissatisfaction.
