Minecraft Then vs Now

Minecraft 1 Denpa. Ethereal. Surreal. Dreamlike mysterious atmosphere Programmer art textures Herobrine Mandate Minecraft After Notch sold Minecraft. Post 2015 Gradual change from before to this. Jeb's minecraft. (evil) Refinement of the old one subtly sucking the soul out of it. Addition of "Alex" caps it off. Nu-Minecraft Without Notch's incel /v/tard sensibilities bearing any influence over the direction of minecraft at this point, Jeb's pussywhipped nature allows women to take control of minecraft. Agn*s. (nothing more to be said) Moralfagging. Stardey Valley textures Woke splash screens. Tranimals. Superfluous blocks. Anti-player agency mechanics like wolves. Warden. They don't let you kill the Warden because no feats of heroism are allowed in modernity The Happy Ghast. They really jumped the shark with that garbage. Designs that could only be made by people with a deep seated hatred of men and boys. Decorative blocks for women

The meme contrasts three imagined eras of Minecraft: the mysterious, atmospheric early game; the post-2015 period after Notch sold Minecraft; and a supposedly modern version criticized as overly sanitized and politically influenced. Its joke is an exaggerated nostalgic rant that treats newer features, textures, animals, and accessibility-oriented design as evidence that Minecraft has lost its original soul. It is used as an ironic reaction to complaints about modern game updates and culture-war criticism of Minecraft.
