Mr Cig Gives Sick Patients Cigarettes
Mr Cig visits hospital to give out free cigarettes to sick patients (1948)
A person in a giant smiling cigarette costume visits a hospital ward and hands a cigarette to a sick patient in bed. The joke is the absurdly inappropriate promotion of smoking to ill people, parodying old-fashioned cigarette advertising and its disregard for health consequences. It is used as a reaction to blatant hypocrisy or dangerously bad advice.
