Oh, You Like Freedom?
Oh, you like FREEDOM? Name 1000 U.S. Military Bases & Secret International Torture Sites
A garish patriotic collage shows American flags, soldiers, a cheerleader, military aircraft, and a large “1000” beneath the question “Oh, you like FREEDOM?” The joke is sarcastic: it mocks exaggerated American patriotism by implying that the United States spreads freedom through military bases and secret torture sites. It is sent as a reaction to jingoistic claims about American freedom or foreign policy.
