Types of OC Creators

The Parent - Has a singular OC that they pour their heart and soul into - Knows the OC's name, surname, blood type, ssn, credit card details, hair follicle count. Everything - has possibly been building this OC since childhood The Factory - Churns out OC's like it's nothing. - Hundreds of Hundreds of them, all of them have surprisingly deep lore. - Multiple OC's for many many occasions, (makes for great dnd players) The Worldbuilder - Constructs entire Galaxies for their OC's to live in. - Magic system so in depth and detailed that you swear it's a tutorial for it. - (these people scare me) The blender - Takes Characters from their favorite media, meshes and blends them together to make their own OC's (and there's nothing wrong with that :) - also make very good dnd players - so good at what do you can't even tell The Designer - Makes the single most beautiful artwork of a character you have ever seen - what's your OC's name? "idk lol" - Doesn't know a single drop of their OC's lore - Has masterclass level character design skill, can't come up with a name if a gun was pointed to their head The Loremaster - *draws stick figure* this is Thraxus the 4th, he has 400 page lore document

A humorous chart shows six types of original-character creators: the devoted Parent, prolific Factory, expansive Worldbuilder, mashup-oriented Blender, visually skilled Designer, and lore-obsessed Loremaster. The joke is that each creator has an exaggerated strength and weakness, making the image useful for asking artists and roleplayers which type they are.
