Landlord Raises the Rent

Text on the meme

Me when i learned that my landlord wants to raise rent

What it means

A person in a narrow corridor repeatedly lifts and shakes a barred crate or trap, releasing a swarm of cockroaches across the floor before running away. The absurd overreaction compares learning about a rent increase to unleashing chaos and fleeing, making it useful as a reaction to bad financial news or an outrageous price hike.
