Serving Tea to Two Legends

Text on the meme

me serving tea to two legends Thank you very much. Who is she? Her name is Fern.

What it means

A short animated tea-table scene from Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End shows the server introducing Fern while Frieren and a grim, legendary-looking guest sit by the fireplace. The joke is that the narrator treats both characters as legendary figures, while the guest is comically confused about Fern; Aphex Twin’s dreamy, melancholic ambient music makes the awkward exchange feel unusually dramatic and reverent.
