Krusty Finds Out He Isn’t Jewish
WALK OF FAME WHERE THE CHOSEN GET CHOSEN JEWISH WALK OF FAME
In the rain outside a Jewish walk of fame, Krusty the Clown walks a small dog while Lisa and Bart watch under an umbrella. Krusty realizes that his belief that he was a self-hating Jew was mistaken, leaving him simply an anti-Semite; the absurdly bleak revelation turns his identity crisis into the joke. The rain and melancholy scene heighten the tragic, uncomfortable punchline.
