Linux Install Ultimate Shame
Oral meth is hitting good. Time to install Linux. One of these days, I will install it perfectly and cleanly. Even one command being mistyped and returning an error makes the whole install "dirty". Even if the error is meaningless and affects nothing. Every re-install I have to hard format the entire drive, flash the BIOS, set my BIOS settings again, then I can continue to the actual install. I need a clean starting point, of course. Why did God subject us to the eternal torture of both being able to die, and giving us consciousness to endlessly contemplate and try and escape from the inevitable Ultimate Shame. I thought he was supposed to love us.
A Reddit screenshot shows a post about repeatedly reinstalling Linux after even a harmless mistyped command, escalating into an existential rant about death, consciousness, God, and “Ultimate Shame.” The joke is the absurd perfectionism: a minor installation error is treated like a catastrophic moral failure requiring the entire computer to be reset, while the drug reference makes the setup even more surreal.
