The Cousin Who Passed Away
my husband put this up in our home and won’t stop telling people it’s his cousin that passed away
A video slowly zooms toward a framed vintage portrait of a smiling young woman hanging on a wall at home. The caption says the husband insists she was his cousin who passed away, while Angelo Badalamenti’s eerie, melancholy “Laura Palmer’s Theme” plays, making the ordinary portrait feel ominous and implying that something supernatural or unsettling is going on. It works as a reaction meme for a creepy secret, suspicious explanation, or unsettling family story.
