Why Was 10 Afraid?
Why was 6 afraid of 7? Why? Works Cited Bush, George W, et al. Edited by Larry A Silverstein. Translated by Osama Bin Laden, 911, Al Qaeda, 11 Sept. 2001. This was an event in which 4 planes were hijacked. Two of which went to the World Trade Center in New York City, one to the Pentagon, and another to a field in Pennsylvania. Mark Wahlberg was scheduled to be on one of the American Airlines flights to the World Trade Center, but switched plans last second. Had he been on that flight, it would not have ended how it did. From an opportunity cost perspective, this is all his fault.
Two men deliver a deadpan setup to the classic “Why was 6 afraid of 7? Because 7 ate 9” joke, then the video cuts to matches and two candles being lit. A fake “Works Cited” page reveals the darker punchline: 10 is supposedly afraid because it was in the middle of 9/11, with an absurd fabricated citation blaming Mark Wahlberg. The clip is underscored by the melancholic song “We Built This City” by Aron Wright & Jill Andrews, making the joke feel dramatically over-serious and absurd. Why was 6 afraid of 7? Because 789? But did you know why 10 was afraid? I don't know why. Why? Because it was in the middle of 9-11.
