Me in Photos vs Mirror

Me in photos: Me in the mirror:

What it means

The video contrasts a cheerful, cartoonish orange insect waving under “Me in photos” with a black-and-white montage of a disheveled, increasingly intense man under “Me in the mirror.” The joke is that someone looks cute and harmless in pictures but sees a dramatically worse, chaotic version of themselves in the mirror; the energetic French disco-pop track “Peur des filles” by L’Impératrice makes the escalating reactions feel even more absurd.
