Students Get PLAP

Text on the meme

Thank you! I hope for many Students of CUNY to get PLAP! Primary Learning Assisted Plan

What it means

A screenshot of a social media exchange shows a CUNY-related post hoping that many students will get PLAP, followed by a reply expanding the acronym as “Primary Learning Assisted Plan.” The joke comes from the awkward acronym and its suggestive-sounding appearance, turning a formal educational phrase into an absurd reaction meme.
