Goth Girl House or Job Interview

“No son, we're not going to the goth girls house so she can step on you, we're going to a j*b interview”

Nicolas Cage sits in a car looking increasingly distressed, then rushes out and disappears as the car drives away. The joke contrasts a bizarre goth-girl fantasy with the mundane horror of going to a job interview, while Radiohead’s melancholic alternative rock song “Let Down” heightens the melodrama. It works as a reaction to unwanted responsibilities or an emotionally devastating everyday situation.
