Inflation Fetishists Discover Venezuela

Text on the meme

People with inflation fetishes when they find out about Venezuela

What it means

A person wearing headphones reacts to the caption about people fascinated by inflation, then abruptly drops or disappears from view as the screen goes dark. The joke refers to Venezuela’s extreme hyperinflation, humorously presenting it as the ultimate fantasy for someone with an inflation fetish; the music and sudden gasp make the reaction feel dramatically overwhelmed and absurd.
