The Same Woman Crying Every Night
All the apartments around me are empty. They blast fake ambience from speakers to try and convince me I have neighbors, but I caught them, I noticed the loop. The same woman crying every night. 1am. An hour of that, then silence. That's when they reset it. I don't deserve this.
A fictional post claims that empty apartments are secretly playing a looping recording of the same woman crying at 1 a.m. to make it seem like neighbors live nearby. The absurd conspiracy and escalating paranoia make it a humorous reaction to feeling isolated, disturbed, or unfairly tormented by unexplained nighttime sounds.
