Utopia Overture Food Crisis Montage

FOOD BANK KEEP KIDS SAFE

A dark, cinematic montage from Utopia shows purple flowers, a masked rabbit figure outside a shuttered shop, a half-eaten meal beside unsettling drawings, empty fields, a lone person outside a fenced building, a shadowy house, disturbing anatomical sketches, and a case of cartridges. The imagery turns the news-like line about soaring food costs into ominous dystopian satire, while the eerie music makes ordinary scenes feel threatening and apocalyptic. Cristobal Tapia De Veer’s “Utopia Overture” plays underneath, with tense electronic music and ritual-like gong and wood-block sounds that heighten the absurdly grim mood.

The government's coming under increasing pressure to take urgent action to reduce the soaring cost of food. It's just gas. You've got to sleep.
