Too Scared to Ask Her Out

Text on the meme

Me being too scared to ask her out Her waiting for me to ask her out

What it means

A split-screen video shows Patrick Bateman from American Psycho nervously staring ahead while Wednesday Addams waits and gradually gives him a suspicious side-eye. The joke is about mutual romantic hesitation: both appear interested, but neither makes the first move. Jay Sagi’s “THE PERFECT BOY” plays underneath, adding a tense, darkly stylish mood that heightens the awkward anticipation and makes the prolonged eye contact funnier.
