Hot Wheels Particle Accelerator

built a particle accelerator outta hotwheels for like $80 ⚡ ⚡ ⚡ ⚡ ⚡ ⚡ ⚡ ⚡ ⚡

A homemade circular Hot Wheels track is assembled from colorful toy track pieces, taped supports, cardboard, and black tubes on a carpet. The caption jokingly presents this inexpensive children’s toy setup as a particle accelerator, while Blake Neely’s dramatic orchestral superhero-style score, “I Have to Try,” makes the tiny contraption feel absurdly epic and scientific. It works as a reaction to overengineering something simple or proudly exaggerating a cheap DIY project.
