Three Coffees, Three Hours of Sleep
3 coffees, 3 hours of sleep
A fast-paced 19.5-second montage of Ryan Gosling in different cinematic scenes: riding on a speedboat, driving, looking intense in neon light, strolling through colorful streets, dancing with a woman, drinking coffee, working in a field, and finally collapsing in the grass. The repeated caption jokes that three coffees and only three hours of sleep create unstoppable energy at first, but eventually lead to total exhaustion. The clip is set to Steve Lacy’s “Bad Habit,” whose smooth, groovy alternative R&B mood makes the escalating sleep-deprivation joke feel stylish and ironically dramatic.
It's okay, things happen for reasons that I think are sure, yeah
