Dad, I’m Going to the Casino

Text on the meme

“Dad I’m gay” “Dad I’m straight” “Dad I love you” “Hey dad do you wanna go to the casino”

What it means

A long-haired young man walks toward the camera in a hallway while cycling through things he might tell his dad, ending with “Hey dad do you wanna go to the casino.” The joke is that the dramatic personal revelations build up to an unexpectedly casual casino invitation, while Trey Traylor & Armon Warren’s smooth R&B cover of Mac Miller’s “Knock Knock” gives the clip a sentimental, ironic mood. It works as a reaction video for an escalating confession that suddenly turns into a questionable invitation.
