Horse of Silliness and Dissociation

horse of silliness and dissociation

What it means

A pale horse leans over a green stable door, repeatedly approaching the camera, licking its lips, and bobbing its head before turning away. The caption humorously presents the horse as the embodiment of silliness and dissociation, making its vacant, erratic behavior a reaction to feeling mentally detached. Björk’s ethereal, melancholic song “Pagan Poetry” plays underneath, creating an exaggeratedly dramatic contrast with the horse’s goofy movements and making the joke feel surreal and absurd.
