Breathe Along With the Skull

Text on the meme

If you have anxiety, take deep breaths in sync with this.

What it means

A minimalist animation shows nested geometric shapes rhythmically expanding and contracting beneath the caption, then reveals a tiny figure and finally a floating skull moving in time with the beat. The absurd punchline turns calming breathing advice into a sinister dance with a skull, made funnier by George Thorogood & The Destroyers’ blues-rock song “Bad to the Bone,” whose swaggering groove makes the visual feel deliberately ominous and ridiculous.
