Her Birthday vs Me on Mine

Her on her birthday vs. Me on my birthday

What it means

A woman presents her phone with a confident, celebratory expression, contrasted with a tiny mouse-like toy sitting alone at a miniature table beneath a microphone, surrounded by scattered sweets. The joke is the contrast between an apparently glamorous birthday celebration and the lonely, absurdly underwhelming reality of celebrating alone; the upbeat rumba track “Taki taki rumba” by Ndukwe and the cheerful “It's my birthday! Ta-da!” make the contrast even funnier.
