Absolute Cinema Grenade Finish

Absolute cinema

What it means

A first-person shooter player moves through a stone corridor and encounters two enemies before an explosion takes them out. The video then cuts to a black-and-white shot of Vladimir Putin sitting with his hands raised, as if applauding an exceptionally cinematic play. Choi Yu Ree’s emotional Korean ballad “Wish” makes the sudden kill and dramatic reaction feel absurdly grand, turning an ordinary game moment into “absolute cinema.”
