Distorted Doberman Close-Up

Doberman Collecting taxes was a tricky business in the nineteenth century. Vorley were reluctant to pay, but there were plenty of vagabonds waiting to relieve the tax collector of his bounty, while he was on his way to the office. Ludwig Doberman came up with a dog to protect both himself and the tax money from the world's honest guard dog. Doberman crossed the German Pinscher with the Rottweiler and Weimaraner before eventually developing the distinctive black-and-tan colour pattern used extensively by police forces and security companies more than a century later.
