The Crusty White Dog Destiny

My dog fooled me. Let me tell you how. I wanted to avoid the Latina stereotype of having a crusty white dog. So I chose her. The dog on the left. The dog on the right is the same exact dog, as an adult. She TURNED INTO THE CRUSTY WHITE DOG! I COULDN’T AVOID MY DESTINY AS A LATINA

A social media post shows two photos of the same small dog, first as a fluffy brown puppy and later as a scruffy white adult dog. The joke is that the owner tried to avoid the stereotype of a Latina having a crusty white dog, but the puppy inevitably grew into exactly that stereotypical dog. It is used as a humorous reaction to unavoidable destiny or ironic self-fulfilling stereotypes.
