Three Halves of Half-Life
>in 1998 Valve released Half Life, which got rave reviews and sales despite only being half a game. They followed this up in 2004 with the other half of the game, Half Life 2, which was similarly popular. Fans of Life have been asking for a third Half Life, but Valve are apparently unwilling to do this until they figure out how to have three halves of something.
Philomena Cunk looks sadly into the camera beneath a post joking that Valve released Half-Life and Half-Life 2 as two halves of a game. The punchline is that a third Half-Life would require Valve to figure out how something can have three halves, mocking the long wait for Half-Life 3. This reaction is used for absurd disappointment, especially about Valve delaying or refusing to release Half-Life 3.
