Yaoi Backpack Humiliation
my new yaoi backpack! i got bullied over yaoi at school Diary 30: Superman is coming to school Diary 31: Humiliation
A split-screen video pairs a smiling girl showing off her new yaoi-themed backpack with an old clip of a boy in a Superman shirt reacting enthusiastically, then hiding his face in humiliation. The joke comes from the dramatic progression from proudly displaying yaoi merchandise to being bullied for it at school, while Arctic Monkeys’ melancholic indie rock song “505” heightens the mock-tragic mood and makes the reaction feel disproportionately devastating.
